This one is for the girls! With 1500 women taking part at the 2010 Shock Absorber WomenOnly Triathlon we are very excited to be holding the same event on July 2nd, 2011.
Held at the Olympic rowing venue, Dorney Lake, Eton, it provides a flat tarmac run and bike track as well as a lake with clean, calm waters to swim. As well as being a very safe and supportive venue for a triathlon, it also offers superb spectator viewing.
The Shock Absorber WomenOnly Triathlon gives all the ladies the chance to try a new sport or to compete like for like and most of all for you to help raise money for a very worth cause, Breast Cancer Care.
A sell out of 1500 women entered the fabulous 2010 event, which is designed for women of all abilities to compete in a friendly, fun and non-intimidating environment.
So now's the time to grab your girlfriends and your sports kit and be part of an event that is going to give you the ultimate feeling of achievement.
There are three distances available and each of them can be entered as an individual or part of a relay team, depending on how big a challenge you want.
*If you are new to Triathlon, don't miss out on the Shock Absorber Training Day on Sunday 22nd May 2011 to fully prepare you for the main event.
